The appointment of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, Olowo of Owo Kingdom, as the Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Jigawa State has been described as a testament to exceptional leadership qualities, dedication and outstanding contributions to the development of society.

This is contained in a congratulatory message signed by Prince Tunde Ponnle and his wife , Her Excellency Otunba Titi Tomori-Ponnle, former Deputy Governor of Osun State on Sunday in Osogbo, describing the appointment as a round peg in a round hole.

According to the message, the outstanding performance of the most revered, outstanding, brilliant and exemplary Oba, whose background has impacted positively on the Owo kingdom stands him in good stead as the Chancellor of the Federal University of Science Technology, Jigawa State.
