Yoruba Koya Initiative To Empower Youths, Inaugurate Patron, Chieftaincy In Osogbo

All efforts are on top gare to host this year Youth Empowerment Programme alongside Inauguration of Patron by the Yoruba Koya Initiative.

As one of the sociocultural groups in Yorubaland, Yoruba Koya Initiative is saddled with promoting cultural value, propagating the unity of Yorubaland and bringing people out of poverty.

According to the release made available by the group’s media consultant, Adewumi Adesina who told the OSUN REPORTERS, said that the programme would come up on Tuesday, 10th September, 2019 in Osogbo where many youths will be empowered by the group.

He stated further, that Yoruba Koya Initiative will inaugurate the Deputy Majority Leader of the 9th Senate, Senator Ajayi Boroffice as Patron of the group, while Chief Lekan Salami would also be installed as Atunluse of Yoruba Koya.

The National President and Secretary of Yoruba Koya Initiative, Asiwaju Sunday Oladele and Mr. Deji Oluwasina has promised on behalf of the group, that all arrangement for the smooth running of the programme has concluded while eminent personalities across Southwest are expected to grace the occasion.

Amongst the expected dignitaries expected at the occasion are, the executive Governors, Royal Fathers, Culture icons and political functionaries across Yorubaland, while members of Yoruba Koya Board of Trustee, Elder Akinsola Akanni, Mr. Bayo Olafisi, Prince Adewole Ayoola among others would be in attendance alongside members of the group.The programme is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 10th of September, 2019 at Royal Spring Holiday Inn, along Osogbo Ikirun Road, Biket Area, Osogbo.


On behalf of the group, Adewumi Adesina concluded that all invited dignitaries and members of the public are expected to grace the occasion as the programme is slated for 10:00am where current security challenges would also be discussed among other pressing issue concerning Yorubaland.
