Osun Workers Join Hunger Protest In Osogbo
Workers and civil society organizations have on Tuesday joined their colleagues in Nigeria to protest over the current economic situation in Nigeria, OsunReporters News gathered.
The protest started about8 O’clock in the morning where workers and members of Civil Society Organizations gathered at popular Olaiya junction to register their displease over the economic hardship.
Our correspondent who was at the scene gathered that security opratives were at the protest venue to monitor the situation against any violence.
It would be recalled that Organized Labour had last Monday, begun mobilising its members for the nationwide protests over the high cost of living in the country over failure to Federal Government to fulfill its promises after a two-day ultimatum ahead of nationwide protest, slated for today (Tuesday), February 27, and Wednesday, February 28.
