Watch Moment Senators Waiting For Abuja Disco To Restore Power Supply Before Plenary
It was suprise seen a viral video on the internet showing the moment Senators were forced to wait for the Abuja Electricity Distribution PLC (Disco) to reinstate the electricity supply before the start of the session.
Reports revealed that there was a partial blackout in the Red Chamber today, forcing the senators to hang around while the power is being restored.
However, a few minutes later, after the restoration of power, the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, proceeded to commence the plenary session.
It would be recalled that in February, the Abuja Electricity Distribution PLC issued a warning to many government agencies to pay the debt on their electricity bill or face disconnection.
