UK arrests 28-year-old Nigerian for murdering his mother
,,,,,Nicolas Aina, a Nigerian, has been charged with murdering his 64-year-old mother, Caroline Adeyelu, and wounding his 33-year-old sister, Angel Adeyelu, at their family home in Dagenham, East London, UK.
According to itv News, the 28-year-old entered his sister’s bedroom and repeatedly stabbed her with a knife.
Caroline reportedly ran inside after hearing her daughter’s screams, but the suspect allegedly lunged at her with the knife before fleeing the residence on Auriel Avenue.
Aina’s mother was pronounced dead at the scene, while his sister was treated and released from the hospital for stab wounds.
,,,,,Samantha Southey, a neighbor who resided next door to the victims, allegedly indicated that she heard the ruckus caused by the incident.
“I simply heard a little noise last night,” she explained. The cops came on the door and announced that they had apprehended the suspect. It’s a little terrifying.”
Aina was reported to have been at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 1, before Judge Philip Katz KC, where he was charged with murder and attempted murder.
He was remanded in jail and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey Court on Thursday.
