Two Nigerians set Guinness World Records in 10m hand walk, swimming

After beaten the previous record by over 10 seconds, a Nigerian, Anjola Olupitan has been awarded the Guinness World Record for the fastest 10 meters walk on hands with legs behind the head with 12.52 seconds.

According to repports, the attempt was made in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, on 24 February 2024.

While revealing this via X.com in Thursday, GWR wrote, “New record: Fastest 10m walking on hands with legs behind the head in 12.52 seconds by Anjola Olupitan”

In another development, a Bayelsa-born young Nigerian Guiness World Record holder, Tonye Solomon, has again successfully attempted to set a new Guiness World Record for the LONGEST SWIMMING, BALANCING A FOOTBALL ON THE HEAD challenge.

Tonye, on Saturday, embarked on a very tedious task to complete his attempt at thirty seven (37) minutes, beating the existing record held by a Russian at twenty three minutes (23).

Tonye held a ball balanced on his head while swimming across the Ikoli river in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
