Two die as bandits rustle 223 cows in Kaduna
Information reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that no fewer than two herders were shot dead while about 223 cows were rustled by bandits.
According to report, the incident happened at Haying-Dam, in Kachia local government area of Kaduna State on Saturday 2nd March, 2024.
Reports revealed that the bandits in their large numbers, reported to have attacked three herders’ camps in the area with AK-47 rifles.
During the attack, the bandits first attacked one Alhaji Ibrahim Yabari’s camp and rustled 123 cows, before they thereafter extended their attacked to another camp and took away 100 cows.
According to source; “One of the bandits opened fire and killed two herders when they were trying to resist them from rustling the cows.”
However, troops who were stationed at neighboring Janjala village, later came to the community for rescue and were still on the trail of the bandits.
