The State President of the Association of Mobile Telecommunication Engineers of Nigeria (AMTEN), Comrade Abdulrasaki Olanrewaju Ejalonibu has called on youths and citizens of Nigeria to turn to prayer amidst the current hardship in the country.

During an interview with newsmen, Comrade Ejalonibu emphasized that the situation requires divine intervention, urging citizens to seek solace in their places of worship, whether mosques, churches, or quiet moments in their homes, stressing that prayer is the most effective tool to tackle the challenges facing the nation.

Comrade Ejalonibu also advised religious leaders to be prayerful and considerate, as no one knows when the hardship will end. He expressed concern about the unfavorable weather conditions and their impact on human health, which he noted is not the government’s fault.

While addressing the government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Comrade Ejalonibu recommended the removal of taxes on food imports and a reduction in fuel pump prices. He also suggested that the government provide farming incentives and direct state governments to allocate land to associations for farming purposes, ensuring food security for the future.

Furthermore, Comrade Ejalonibu appealed to the federal government to listen to artisanal ideas and innovations, which can contribute to national development. He encouraged artisans to submit their ideas and materials for consideration, promising support for their initiatives.”
