Titi Laoye-Ponnle Greets Christians On Easter Celebration

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun and a leading APC leader in the State has sent her warm greetings to Christians as the Christendom celebrates Easter to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

While congratulating the Christian community in a statement issued on Saturday and made available to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS in Osogbo, Titi Laoye-Ponnle urged the Christian faithfuls most especially in Osun State to reflect on the lessons and essence of the season, sacrifice, and love their fellow citizens as well as pray for Osun, Governor Oyetola’s re-election in July, and Nigeria’s victory over current challenges.

The message read, “Compliments of the season to my Christian brothers and sisters across the State of Osun, as the world marks Easter celebration which revolves on the teachings of love and sacrifices for others as exemplified by our Lord Jesus Christ.

“As we celebrate in this joyous season, it is my passionate appeal to the Christian faithfuls to remember Governor Oyetola in our prayers on his re-election bid, also our state and Nigeria for divinine guidance, peace and victory over the challenges facing our nation,” she added.
