Tinubu approves creation of new Federal University

Information reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that President Bola Tinubu has approved the creation of a Federal University in Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State.

According to reports, the move aims to expand educational opportunities in the Northwest region.

The announcement was made by Vice-President Kashim Shettima during a condolence visit to Bishop Matthew Kukah in Kaduna State.

,,,…..The visit followed the passing of Kukah’s brother, Yohanna, the Agwom Akulu of Ikulu Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area.

,,,….During the visit, Shettima mentioned the approval and ongoing efforts to establish a Federal University and Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan, also in Kaduna respectively

Additionally, he acknowledged the appointment of General Christopher Musa as Chief of Defence Staff, describing it as part of broader efforts to address the region’s security needs.
