“The Charisma And Dynamic Of Aregbesola To Rebuild Osun As Governor Was Not Sustained By His Successor” – Aaraj
By Raji Babatunde, Osogbo
The Osogbo born contractor and philanthropist, Engr. Kehinde Raji also known as Aaraj has eulogised former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola for his role while presiding over the state as governor, OsunRepoers News Gathered.
Aaraj, who made this known while responding to questions from the OsunReporters News Correspondents on Sunday in his Osogbo residence, revealed that he cherish the former governor because of his appetite to develop Osun by bringing many home-based contractors to the limelight with the mandate that personnel from the state must be contracted.
According to him, “My love for Ogbeni Aregbesola is natural due to his dynamic ways of doing things. For example; I was contracted after the state found my resume qualified and I executed about 65% of the construction projects during Aregbesola’s reign that has transformed Osun to the limelight”
“Ogbeni Aregbesola brought so much infrastructure that really changed the image of Osun to its current level, especially Osogbo. But his administration was unable to pay me in full because the projects were still ongoing, promising that his successor will continue where he stopped but the reverse was the case when Alh Gboyega Oyetola was in power.”
ARAJ, however said the current administration of Governor Adeleke will do the needful on the payment of the work done for the state because government is a continuum.
