Testimonies as Aaraj empowers more petty traders, youth, aged, less privileged Osun residents

No fewer that 500 beneficiaries have been added to the list of the empowered people including petty traders, young and aged people in different categories of Araj Empowerment Foundation (AEF), OsunReporters News gathered.

The empowerment programme tagged ‘Kejebu Micro Credit Scheme’, held on Saturday at GRA residence of the AEF founder, Engr Raji Kehinde Aaraj in Osogbo, where beneficiaries cross the thirty local governments including Area Office of Osun State were in attendance.

OsunReporters News reports that the two-hundred beneficiaries of fifty-thousand naira each received their cheque to boost their small scale businesses with the agreement to repay it installmentally for more people to benefit in the ten million naira Kejebu Micro Credit Grant.

Other categories of the empowerment include, one-hundred Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS) cards for one year free healthcare for aged people across Osun State, while another set of aged Osun women across the local government areas were given stipend to support their daily needs by the AEF.

Other beneficiaries include; twenty young people trained in hairdressing/wig making at Adeque Uniwig, and four youths trained in handbags making at Toyet Bags received certificate and startup fund to become boss in their chosen careers.

While speaking, the founder of Aaraj Empowerment Foundation, Engr Raji Kehinde affirmed that his kind gesture to continue empowering more people across Osun State since 2012 has been manifesting in the lives of many people who can stand on their own today and extend the empowerment gesture to others.

He stated further that the less privileged people need to be empowered by those whom God had endowed with wealth, urging the government to look into the grassroots where people are in need of all types of empowerment.

In his royal remark, the Ataoja of Osogbo His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye ll) acknowledged the good effort of Aaraj in empowering more less privileged people in Osogbo and beyond.

Ataoja who was represented by one of his wives, Olori Kafayat Adedoyin Oyetunji gave kudos to Aaraj for being a good ambassador of Osogbo who hails from Isale-osun Osogbo.

In their separate testimonies and thanksgiving to their benefactor, Mrs Oyetunji Rachel, Mr Adeniran Mutiu, Mrs Adenike Fatimoh who could not hide their joy, shower praises on Engr Raji Kehinde Aaraj for remembering them at this trying time of their lives.

Other beneficiaries of free grant, health and handiwork training of the empowerment program across the three senatorial districts of the state prayed God will answer both the open and secret prayers of their benefactors.

Calling for more people to join AEF platforms, the state Coordinator, Adegbite Moshood reaffirmed that the foundation is not political inclined, adding that registration of more members is ongoing across local government via https://www.aarajiempowermentfoundation.org with about fifty-one thousand registered members.

Presentation of a portrait of Aaraj photograph was presented to him in appreciation of his kindness at the programme where eminent personalities such as technocrats, politicians, traditionalist, business men, AEF members were in attendance.
