State Gov Declares 200k Bonus for Corps Members
Information reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that the Niger State Governor, Umar Bago, has approved the payment of a N200,000 bonus to corps members deployed to the state for national youth service.
According to reports, Bago gave the approval on Tuesday during the swearing-in ceremony for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members at the Niger State NYSC Orientation Camp.
The governor further noted that all corps members currently in the orientation camp will each receive a credit of N200,000 before the end of their orientation program to boost their morale and encourage them to stay back in Niger State, promised to build a modern orientation camp worth N5 billion that befits the scheme’s core values.
