Sports Minister Visits Adekuoroye after Olympics ouster
Akin Bolarinwa.
Shortly after she lost her bout to the Moldovan wrestler whom she hard previously trounced 10-0 in each of their last two duel, Minister of Youth and Sports honourable Sunday Dare in company of Nigeria Olympics Committee (NOC) President Habu Gumel and Caretaker chairman of the Nigeria Wrestling federation Daniel Igali visited Odunayo Adekuoroye.
In his fatherly role for all Team Nigeria athletes at the Tokyo Olympics with his motivation and encouragement before, during and after their games, the Minister continues in playing his roles.
Adekuoroye feels she has let down the country because over 80 percent of wrestling enthusiasts had her as their favourite to land the gold for the nation.
The minister of sports assured her that she has a loving and supportive group of people around her and that she should brace her self up for the next Olympics in France.
