Sheik Ilyas Afolabi Alawe Celebrates Centenary Birthday In A Grandstyle

The Planning committee of the Centenary Birthday of Olori Alhalaji and Olori Ratibi of Osun State, Alhaji Sheik Ilyas Afolabi Alawe has rolled out series of programmes to make his centenary birthday celebration colorful.

The Chairman of Centenary Birthday planning committee constituted by the Ratibi Isale-Osun, Osogbo, Alhaji Abdullateef Adebayo Kewudola made this known while explaining what members of the planning committee have in package to make the centenary birthday celebration of the great Islamic Cleric,Community leader, and Icon, Alhaji Sheik Ilyas Afolabi Alawe a remarkable one,shortly after their first meeting in Osogbo.

He said, “It is imperative and incumbent on us to work on a befitting Centenary Birthday Programme for our dear valued father,a role model,a man of untainted and unblemished character who is making us proud,Alhaji Sheik Ilyas Afolabi Alawe, considering the fact that he remains one of the Pillars of Islam, not only in Osun State,but in Nigeria at large”.He concluded.

Among the series of programmes outlined for the Centenary Birthday Celebration of Alhaji Sheik Ilyas Afolabi Alawe are ;

1. Visit to the Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) Orphanage Home on Thursday 27th June 2024.

2.Special Jumat Service at the Osogbo Central Mosque,Oja-Oba Osogbo,on Friday 28th June 2024,in honour of the Centenarian Islamic Cleric, Alhaji Sheik Ilyas Afolabi Alawe

3.Grand Finale of the Centenary Birthday Celebration at the Atlantis Event Center, Behind NASFAT, Ring Road, Osogbo on Saturday 29th June 2024,where the famous Islamic Singer, Alhaji Dr Abdulsalam Abdulazeez,A.K.A,Saoti Arewa is expected to do what he knows best , that is electrifying the venue with good music

Other members of the centenary birthday celebration planning committee are:
