Seven more suspects arrested in connection to human parts found with Osun herbalist

Information reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that the Osun State Security Network, also known as Amotekun Corps have arrested seven more suspects in connection with a mutilated corpse found in the custody of a native doctor, Ganiyu Wasiu, in Igege town.

,,,,,, According to the report, residents suspicious of Wasiu’s movement had alerted security agents and held him till men of the Amotekun Corps arrived at the scene.

….A video clip of the scene of the crime showed the suspect bringing out the mutilated body in a bag, as a crowd beat him with sticks.

….The suspect, while denying involvement in ritual killings, cursed the people he said set him up.

,,,,Giving an update on the incident, Field Commander of Amotekun Corps, Osun State, Amitolu Shittu, said apart from Wasiu, also held was an accomplice, Muzzat Wasiu, said to be living with him.

,,,,,Shittu said seven more suspects arrested in Iwo town in connection with the crime and the two initially arrested (Ganiyu and Muzzat) were handed over to the Osun State Command of the Department of State Services for further action.

,,,,,,,“We have handed the suspects and exhibits to the DSS for further action. We initially arrested two suspects, namely Ganiyu Wasiu and Muizzat,” he explained.
