Ejiofor in a statement on Friday titled: “Justice Delayed Is Not Always Justice Denied,” said his home was invaded on December 2, 2019 during the funeral of his late older brother, Reverend Chukwukpelum Louis Ejiofor, said was overrun by a team of security agents including the Nigerien police and army.

According to him, four people were killed in his compound and all the houses of his ancestral home, including the houses of his brothers and the neighboring houses, were set on fire.

He also shed light on the shared judgment in an interview. He said: “Judge Dimgba of Court No. 2, Judicial Division of the Federal High Court of Awka awarded me the sum of 50 million Naira against the police and army and 2 million Naira as a cost of the action still against the police and the army, in total 52 million naira.

“I have taken legal action to have my fundamental rights seriously violated by the said security agents. On Thursday, December 2, 2021, the Federal High Court of Awka, Anambra State rendered a well-considered judgment in my favor.


“The judgment may have been delayed, but the fact that the court has found that my rights have been seriously violated and condemned will go a long way in easing the pain and trauma. I have been passing through for two years, because of this terrible and heartbreaking experience.
