Sam Oyus Foundation Empowers House of Akoraye Graduands, Set To Launch Incubation Center

Sam Oyus Foundation, a non-governmental organization in osun state has empowered recent graduands of House of Akoraye vocational training center in Modakeke, Osun State.

In the 4th edition of the graduation ceremony held in Modakeke Town Hall, Hon. Samuel Oyedotun through his foundation empowered best trainees in each of the training categories with working tools and equipments needed to be independent in their respective field.

While speaking on the vision and mission of Sam Oyus Foundation, Mr. Kiari Yusuf, the program lead of the foundation stated that the foundation is unique in its operation as it set out to change the mindset of the people towards empowerment. He noted that while many foundation exists to fill vacuum, Sam Oyus Foundation aims to empower people in various sectors and mould them to become a CHAMPION, a trait fully ascribe to the foundation chairman.

While presenting the working tools to the best graduating trainees in fashion designing, leather bag and shoe making, hair styling, catering among others, the Chairman of the foundation, Hon. Samuel Oyedotun who is also the Board Chairman, Osun State Water Corporation announced the plan of the foundation to launch a Business Incubation Center for newly skilled individuals to showcase and sharpen up their skill while earning from proceeds of sale of their product or output.

Kiari while giving more insight on the operation of the business incubation center explained that many skilled individuals find it hard to be independently productive due to lack of capital among other factors, the incubation center according to him will afford them the opportunity of a starting point with all the needed facilities that will be put in place by the foundation.

Furthermore, he announced that all the new graduands who wants to be a part of the pilot stage of the incubation center are welcome once the business center is ready for operation.


The Chairman of Sam Oyus Foundation was presented with an award of excellence by House of Akoraye recognizing his significant contribution to the success of the event and the opportunity accorded the young graduands through his foundation.
