ROYAL COMBAT: Residents Take Protest To Governor’s Office Against Oluwo’s Action On Agbowu, Demand His Suspension

The news reaching OsunReporters News had it that, the residents of Ogbaagba, Ayedire, Olaoluwa on Monday stormed the office of Osun State Governor in Osogbo to protest the alleged assault of their King, Agbowu of Ogbaagbaa, Oba Akinropo by Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi.

The protesters include Chiefs and some residents in the ancient town of Ogbaagba and Ile-Ogbo and Iwo Demanding for the suspension of Oluwo during the peaceful protest to register their grievances.

According to the report, protesters reportedly said that the Oluwo’s action was against the tradition and culture of Yoruba race, and called for the suspension of Oluwo by presented a petition to the state government.


Recall that, the Oluwo and Agbowu had earlier exchanged blows during the peace meeting held at the office of Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 11 in Osogbo on Friday.
