Residents Arrested For Flouting COVID-19 Safety Protocols In Osun (Photos)One of the efforts of the Osun State Government to curb Covid-19 global pandemic in the state is sensitising the residents to adhered with the NCDC safety protocol amongst residents, while the Joint Task Force against COVID-19 setup by the state government is to enforce the safety protocol.
On Tuesday, 30th of June, the Joint Task Force apprehended some residents of the state for failing to adhere to the pandemic’s safety protocols.
The arrest was made to attend compulsory safety course as parts of the punishments for those who go against measures laid down by the National Disease Control Centre (NCDC) to contain the pandemic in Osun.
OSUNREPORTERS NEWS gathered that the purpose of the safety course is to enlighten the non-adherents on the reality of the pandemic and the necessary safety precautions against the further spread of the deadly virus in the state.
