Reps To Question Customs Comptrollers Over killings
The House of Representatives Committee on Customs and Exercise will invite the Comptrollers of the Nigeria Customs Service of the Oyo and Osun commands over the killing of five persons in Iseyin, Oyo State, on May 13, 2021.
Chairman of the committee, Leke Abejide, who spoke to journalist, said the Deputy Comptroller in charge of enforcement in Oyo would also answer questions.
The lawmaker representing lseyin/ltesiwaju/Kajola/lwajowa Federal Constituency in Oyo State in the House, Mr SHINA PELLER, had on May 18, 2021, moved a motion to demand an investigation over the killings and compensation for the victims’ families.
