President Tinubu’s has reportedly triggered day five nationwide hunger protests

Following criticism and rejection of President Bola Tinubu’s nationwide Sunday Speech, the nationwide protest against bad governance and hunger continues for the 6th day across the country.

It should be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had on Sunday morning addressed Nigerians, urging them to suspend their strike while reeling out the achievements of his administration.

In a related development, a Nigerian activist cum politician, Omoyele Sowore has also called for a total shutdown in reaction to President Bola Tinubu’s Sunday morning address to Nigerians over the #EndBadGovernance protests.

While speaking on News Central TV, Sowore condemned the speech delivered by President Bola Tinubu, stating that the protests would continue…..because the President did not address any of the demands of the protesters.

According to him, “They (referring to the government) have nothing to offer you. Sometimes we ask for too much when we know that they have nothing or little to give. What you saw happened in the speech which I did not bother to listen to, there is nothing in it.


At the time of filing this report, reports revealed that protesters are storming the streets in Osun, Plateau, Lagos, Abuja among other states of the federation for the day-5 pratest.
