Presidency clears air about confusion in Buhari’s foreign trips

The Presidency has explained why President MUHAMMADU BUHARI, returned from Kenya to Nigeria yesterday.

Nigerians had expected him to go directly to the United Kingdom for his medical check-up after the United Nations Environmental Programme at 50 in Nairobi, Kenya, as announced by his media aide, FEMI ADESINA. But instead, the President returned to Nigeria yesterday to the surprise of many, fuelling speculations that he had abandoned the U-K trip.

However, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam GARBA SHEHU, said the President would still embark on the U-K trip on Sunday.
