Police Confirm Abduction Of 60 In Zamfara
The Zamfara State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of 60 people from Rini village in Zamfara State by bandits.
The black-attired bandits were said to have invaded the village on Friday night and operated till the early hours of yesterday.
It was learnt that they used more than 50 motorcycles to ferry their victims. At press time, the bandits were yet to begin negotiations with relatives of their victims, most of whom are children and the aged, while security men were on their trail.
