Police Arrest Man For Killing Nursing Mother, Selling Baby
The police in Rivers State have arrested A suspected serial child trafficker identified as Chinedu Nwachukwu was arrested by the Rivers state Command of Nigerian Police for allegedly killing a woman and stole her baby.
The report revealed that the 22-year-old suspect sold the baby for N350,000 in Igwuruta, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
According to the statement made by the State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan at the police headquarters on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, on Saturday, the suspect is a serial killer and kidnapper killed a woman with a stick, dumped her in a septic tank and stole her newborn in August, 2020, adding that police operatives already recovered the woman’s corpse while the child was rescued.
