The Governor of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola, has felicitated his Aide-De-Camp, Mr. Oluleke Oke on his new promotion.

Oluleke has been promoted from the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, to Superintendent of Police, SP.

Governor Oyetola who aided the State Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode, to decorate the newly- promoted officer in his office, at State Government Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo, displayed enthusiasm for another feat attained by his ADC.

The Commissioner of Police who was represented by his Deputy, Mrs. Hope Okafor, described the Governor’s ADC as a diligent, committed and thoroughbred officer.

“It is a good thing to participate in a thing like this because it raises hopes of officers that, one day, they too will be decorated like this.

“I have come here with greetings from the CP as a mark of honour and attestation to the fact that the newly-promoted officer has distinguished himself in the discharge of his duties.

“This is indeed a sign that whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well. And to whom much is given, much is expected. This is a fine officer who has demonstrated diligence and capacity in the discharge of his duties”, she said.

Oluleke was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Inspector in 2010 and was posted to Kano State Police Command. He was thereafter posted to State Intelligence Bureau, Oyo State Police Command, and after a year in the Command, he proceeded on a Peace Keeping Mission in Mogadishu Somalia in 2013.

As a result of his commitment and excellent performance during the mission on Somalia, he was appointed as the Personal Assistant to the then Director Peacekeeping, Mr Kayode Adereti after returning to the country.

Due to his operational experience and capacity to lead officers and men of the Force, he was transferred to Osun as the Commander of Governor’s Monitoring Team ( GMT). When there was a vacuum about six months ago, Governor Oyetola wasted no time in inviting Oluleke to fill the vacuum as his Aide-De-Camp. He replaced SP Jimoh Akinloye.
