OSUN NUJ PRESS WEEK: Federated Vows To Win 2019 Inter-Chapel Soccer Competition

As part of the activities of Osun State Chapter of Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ) annual press week, inter-chapels football competition is an aspect where chapels compete in a friendly sporting atmosphere for fitness and harmonious coexistence.

The Federated Chapel led by Mr Sesan Adeleke have challenged their opponents for the annual Osun NUJ football match competition as they promised to triumph in this year tournaments where the chapel drawn to face State Information and Local Government chapels in Group B.

As stated in the release made available by the Committee Chairman, Mr Tajudeen Amodu, the following chapels were drawn to face each other; Group – A: Osun Defende, Correspondents’ Chapel and Rave FM while Local Government Chapel, Federated Chapel and State Information were ceded together in group – B; and the last Group – C; OSBC Chapel, NTA Chapel and Uniq FM Chapel were to meet for the group stage.

According to the schedule, the opening match of the tournament will commence on Wednesday, 2nd of October, 2019 while all matches will be played at Osogbo Township Stadium while the final match is billed for 30th October, 2019.

As gathered by the OsunReporters News, Mr Amodu enjoined all chapels to abide by the rules and regulations of the tournament mad available to all participants.

While assuring the organizing committee of his chapel’s readiness, the Federated Chapel’s Chairman Mr Adeleke also encouraged members of the chapel to go for victory and make the chapel proud again as they are ready to lift up the trophy this year.
