Osun NNPP Denies Endorsing any other Candidate

The Osun State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has reaffirmed that the presidential candidate of NNPP is the most qualified of all the Presidential Candidates in Nigeria.

A statement by the chairman of the Caretaker Committee, Alhaji Abdussalam Abiola Abdullateef, released in Osogbo the state capital of Osun State, hinted that
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwoso who was Minister of Defence, two term Governor among other National and International portfolios has amersed tremendous experience in Governance enough to salvage Nigerians from its sinking ship.

“Anyone aligning with the captains of the sinking ship should be condemned” he said. He further affirmed that all candidates of NNPP in Osun State are working towards success at the 2023 polls.

When contacted, a candidate to the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal constituency, Otunba Adekunle Ismail Abolade (Dodoede) outrightly dessociates Osun NNPP from people of undeciplined and anti party characters.

He said “although
there were some disgruntled people who were agrieved because they could not pay for the party’s forms, the care taker committe is working hard to appease all interest groups” he said. .

The Candidate further pointed out that political jobbers who sold out their conscience during the last Gubernatorial election in Osun State contributed to failure of that party and therefore, they are political liabilities. “Good riddance to bad rubbish” he said.

The national deputy women leader of NNPP who hails from Osun state, Hon Sholape Olatubosun also told news men when called on phone that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is the man for the job, he is the best among the rest. In her words, she wishes to underscore the fact that NNPP detest this act of indiscipline, impunity and will not support any action that will disorganise the party in the state.

“In furtherance of this, we affirm our support for the former governor of Kano State and the presidential candidate of our party (NNPP), Senator (Dr) Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. We equally urge Nigerians not to vote based on tribe or religion but choose a dedicated, sound and qualified person like Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as their President.
