Osun Govt Unveils application to recruit 5000 teachers (Apply Here)

After the announcement by the Osun State Government led by Governor Ademola Adeleke to recruitment teachers into Public Primary and Secondary Schools in the State, the Ministry of Education has called for applications from the residents of Osun.

This is contained in a release signed by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education, M.A.K. Jimoh and made available to the OsunReporters News in Osogbo in Thursday.

The release read in part; “Consequent upon approval by the Osun state governor to recruit more teachers in the state, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the existing vacancies.

Applicants Requirements

_1. WASSCE/NECO-SSCE/NABTEB with five (5) credits in relevant subjects not more than two sittings;

_II. Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE); Degree in Education or Basic Degree with PGDE, HND+PGDE;

_IV. Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate and Computer knowledge will be added advantages.

_V. Any other relevant qualifications.

_B. Applicants bio-data/Online requirements.

In addition to the above, prospective applicants must also possess the following for the online registration:

_A recent passport photograph (compulsory);

_II. A functional mobile phone number (compulsory);

_Ⅲ. A functional email address (compulsory);

_IV. Local Government of Origin (compulsory);

_V. Birth certificate/Court declaration of age document;

_VI. Attestation from three (3) referees;

_VII. National Identification Number (NIN) and

_VIII. A means of identification (compulsory) such as one of the following:

_a. National ID card

_b. Voters card

_C. International passport or

_d. National Driver’s license
