OSUN FIBAN 2020: Former Acting State Chairman, Oba-Akewi Congratulates New Executive members

The Vice Chairman of the Osun State Chapter of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), who also double as State Acting Chairman, Comrade Rotimi Jolayemi popularly known as Oba-Akewi has congratulated the newly elected members of the state executive.

In a congratulatory message made available to the OSUNREPORTERSN NEWS in Osogbo on Friday, Oba Akewi wishes the new leadership under Alh Adekunle Ismail Dodoede as Chairman, pray for a successful tenure of office as he stepped out as acting Chairman of the association.

“Today will remain ever green in the memory of Osun FIBAN MEMBERS as we elected the new executives of this noble Association.

“I wish all the elected, the members of this Association the very best as I bow out of office officially as the acting chairman to enable the incoming administration settle down to the onerous task of leading the Association for the next three years.

“I was dually elected as the Vice Chairman of this Association but circumstances brought me to the end of the tenure as the Acting chairman at least for three days.

“Through out the days , there was an achievement galores,
pleading to the FIBANEC to allow us(members) to vote without compelling us to buy FIBAN new constitution,
conducting the most generally acceptable election in the history of FIBAN and many more.

” I want to thank the formal chairman comrade Olugbade Olu Oluomo for the opportunity, the elders, executives and members of Osun FIBAN. Best of luck to the incoming Chairman Adekunle Abolade Dodo and his incoming executives.”
