OSRA AWARDS 2021: U-K Top Socialites Set To Storm Ile Ife

One of the most prestigious and highly respected award ceremonies in the whole of the Yorubaland, the O’odua Special Recognition Award, popularly known as OSRA, usually put together by Intercontinental Events and Lifestyle Magazine, is where the sons and daughters of Yoruba descendants home and abroad, are annually gathered and celebrated based on public recommendations and merit for huge contributions to the growth of the Yoruba race and nation-building.

This second edition is here! However, moments from last year’s still ring aloud in the ears of attendants and many who didn’t attend can’t wait for this year’s edition to come alive on October 16, 2021, at Iyeru Ideal Event Centre, Parakin GRA, Ile Ife, Osun State.

Attendees and awardees, last year, flew in from different parts of the world despite the hindrances as a result of the Covid19 outbreak. The hall was full to the brim and ended to be one of the most memorable event of 2020.

To buttress the fact that the success of last year has prompted many to be fully on ground for this year’s edition. More than 21 top socialites in the United Kingdom would be coming in group aside individuals who are planning to attend too. More so, socialites from other european countries and the USA would be gracing the event in grand style.

OSUNREPORTERS NEWS gathered through the Chief Organizer of the event, Otunba Gbenga Adeleke, Publisher of the Intercontinental Events Magazine and also the President Oodua Special Recognition Awards ile ife confirmed the trooping in of the 21 UK top socialites and others from other parts of the world.

“Last year was superb and awesome but this year will be fantabulous, no doubt! In fact the Kabiesi, who is our Royal father, the Ooni of Ife, Arole Ooduduwa , Olofin Adimula Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, was so happy for the success of the last year. And we want to use this medium to appreciate our father for the huge support and endorsement he endowed on us last year. He still remains our royal father and chief host for this edition and more to come.


“Like I said earlier, this year will be explosive. Trust me. What we are doing is building on last year’s success in order to make this edition worthwhile. We just want to say that all who are just planning to attend should make reservations on time because there are limited tables left,” he said.
