Osogbo Youths ‘ODAG’, Felicitates With Abolubode, Akande, Charges Them To Sow Seed Of Development

A youth based organization working in the interest of Osogbo community known as Osogbo Development Action Group (ODAG), has identified with the newly inaugurated Osogbo and Olorunda legislators as members in the 7th Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Badamasi Taofeeq Abolubode and Hon. Kunle Akande.

In a release jointly signed by the Coordinator, Secretary and Public Relations Officer, Onibonokuta Abdullah, Oladejo Shuaib and Olabode Kamardeen respectively, urged the duo to be good ambassador of Osogbo as they would be remembered for the legacy left behind.

According to the statement, “We at the Osogbo Development Action group (ODAG) identify with our brothers, Honourable (Engr.) Taofeek Olatunde Badmus representing Osogbo State Constituency and Honourable Kunle Akande Representing Olorunda State Constituency, on their inauguration as members of the 7th Osun Assembly.
“ODAG is delighted that the good people have spoken and returned you to office as their eyes and ears in the state political hierarchy.

“We believe that the best legacy one can lay for the future is to sow the seed of developments capable of transforming lives of citizenry, it will always pay rich dividends.

“We urge you to legislate on programs and sponsor/support bills that will impact positively on the lives of your constituents.”

ODAG also reiterated on the need for both of them to place the interest of Osogbo above other agenda. Also prayed for the successful tenure of office for both Akande and Taofeek.

“We equally hope that you will make landmark impacts and contribute your quotas to the development of the town, Osogbo in particular and the state in general.

“It is our fervent prayer that God Almighty will continue to grant you all that it requires to succeed in your new political journey.

“Please, accept our hearty felicitations.” The group added.
