Osogbo West LCDA Chairmanship Aspirant, Olaniyan Ademola Bags Honorary Doctorate Degree In Political Science By ESPAM University

For contributing his best in the education community for the progress of Human capital, impacting resources and building future leaders in Osun state and Nigeria as a whole, the ESPAM – Formation University in Benin-Republic, has conferred an honorary Doctorate degree in political science on Prince Ademola Olaniyan, popularly known as ‘Laayan’ from Osun state.

The Chancellor of the University, Dr. Al Bouba Tare at a special convocation held at Benin Republic on 28th November, extolled the qualities of Olaniyan Ademola, that stands him out for the honorary degree, OSUNREPORTERS NEWS gathered.

The honor, which is part of institution’s convocation programme theme Conferment of Doctor Of Philosophy (PHD) Honoris Causa, on Friday at Mauve Event Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo state capital, was graced by prominent personalities such as the Grand Patron of the University, and Honorary Doctorate Degree Awardee, Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Oyo State Governor, Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde and Mai Mala Buni, the Yobe state governor.

ESPM is one of the degree awarding Universities, operating in Benin Republic and the Nigeria government NYSC guaranteed for every Nigerian students.

While delivering the speech for the 8th convocation ceremony, the registrar Mrs Omolewa Egor Ese (M. Phil. M.sc. Anim), congratulated the award recipients, parents for their support for education.

Omolewa said the university was committed to producing globally relevant, competitive and entrepreneurship-minded graduates.

“I am proud of Nigeria, Nigerians dominated our school, I am optimistic that Nigeria will soon become the best country in education and all other sectors.”

The University said the good leadership qualities of the Osogbo born business cum politician had placed him among the top philanthropist who have contributed to education sector in his state and the country which is worthy of emulation.

The Chancellor assured that the university would continue to do its best in promoting best and quality education.

In his remarks, Prince Olaniyan Ademola, who is also a Chairmanship aspirant for Osogbo West LCDA thanked the university for the honour bestowed on him as he applauded family and friends who came to rejoice with him as the venue.

Olaniyan promised to make giant stride by impacting in the lives of the students of Osun State and Nigeria.

Other recipients of the award are; Ademola Christopher Adewumi, Amadi Chimezie Paulinus, Baale Richard Adebayo Adesokan Olunloyo(J.P), Olayinka Gbolahan, Akinkunmi Akingbade, Abimbade Saibu Abass and others.

Olaniyan Ademola hailed from Osogbo in Osun state, attended Imole Oluwa Nursery & Primary school Badagry in Lagos before he proceeded to St Charle’s Grammar School Osogbo, also, Kwara State Polytechnic, NYSC in Abia State and had his Masters in Public Administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho in Oyo state.
