Osogbo Gets New Deputy Chief Imam, Mufasir

After the reign of Sheikh Haroon Adediran Samongogo as deputy Chief Imam (Naibul Imam) of Osogboland, who died and buried on the 1st of December, 2021, another Naibul Imam has immerged.

OSUNREPORTERS NEWS gathered that four contestants from four different zones across Osogbo passed through screening process on Sunday, December 19th, 2011 for the position of Mufasir where Alhaji Abddullateef Abajaoro emerged winner.

It could be recalled that until the screening day, Sheikh Maroof Ishola was the Mufasir of Osogboland before his elevation to the position is of Deputy Chief Imam (Naibul Imam).

The screening committee formed by the trio of Chief Imam of Osogboland, Sheik Musa Animashaun; Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun; and Asiwaju Muslumi of Yorubaland, Chief Khamis Olatunde Badmus, announced the screening results held at the GRA residence of Asiwaju Tunde Badmus.
