OSUNREPORTERS NEWS had earlier reported that a popular Nigerian gospel musician, who was known for the gospel song “Ekwueme“, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu is dead. She died on Friday evening, April 8, 2022.

,,,,Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu died on Friday evening, April 8, 2022, in a hospital located in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. The “Ekwueme” crooner passed on this evening in an Abuja hospital after battling an undisclosed ailment for the past few months. Osinachi Nwachukwu was said to be diagnosed with a deadly ailment and has been bating it for some time now.

What killed Osinachi Nwachukwu?

On Saturday, April 9, 2022, reports emerged, suggesting that she died of throat cancer while another gospel musician, Frank Edwards, suggested that the Ekwueme singer suffered domestic violence before her death.

,,,,,Taking to the social media network Facebook, Frank Edwards said an unreasonable human put off her shining light, reacting to Osinachi Nwachukwu death. It was alleged on Saturday that her husband abused her and was hospitalized before giving up the ghost.

……Frank Edwards had to take permission from her husband before recording with her.

…Frank Edwards wrote, “So that Unreasonable human being finally put off a shining light.

…….“I won’t say much now, I’ll let the former NDDC director (AUNTY Joy) who did everything possible to stop this from happening talk 1st, but it still happened. We tried to stop this,” he added about what killed Osinachi Nwachukwu.

Also, in a live Instagram video, Frank Edwards alleged that Osinachi’s husband abused her on several occasions.

,,,,,He said, “One time in a studio, this man slapped her just because she wanted to record the song in Igbo against his will. She does not do anything on her own. She would say, please beg my husband. She was at his mercy. I didn’t know the intensity of what she was going through; I didn’t know how somebody would be jealous of the wife he claimed to love.

…..“There are a lot of stories where people told her this and that, but what I know was that the control was too much. The other time somebody wanted me to get her for an event, and I contacted her, but she said ‘beg my husband.’

“She couldn’t even tell people what she was going through. I only got to know because Aunty Joy contacted me to promote her song. That was when I got a glimpse into what was happening.”

Another gospel artiste, Asu Ekiye, called for the arrest of her husband.

…..He said, “If what I hear about domestic abuse is anything to go by, then I hereby endorse the call for the arrest of the husband of Osinachi immediately for questioning.”
