ONSU Fights Covid-19, Sensitizes Residents, Distributes Relief Materials In Osogbo

As the the world outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic retains its status Quo, the leadership of Osogbo National student Union comes out with ‘save our souls from Coronavirus by sensitizing people on how to prevent themselves from the epidemic and as well how to curb the widespread of the pandemic.

According to the report made available to OSUNREPORTERS in Osogbo by Seun Omidiran On Wednesday, it was a remarkable day as the people of Osogbo feel the outstanding hospitality of this great union. People felt loved as the sensitization comes as at when needed. No Street was left out in the sensitization programme as the ONSUITES across the city trooped out Street by Street to tackle the perilous disease.

The programme was sponsored and supported with the kind gesture of Hon Taofeek Olatunde Badamasi, the Honourable representing Osogbo State counsituency at the Osun State House of Assembly in tandem with the effort and doggedness of the ONSUITES, the programme went successfully.

In addendum, as people expressed their feelings on cancellation of buying and selling in the city, to save people from hunger while preventing them from Corona virus. We distributed food items like semovota and Spaghetti to the people of Osogbo

We equally appeal to the state government to see on to the economy of this state while enforcing quarantine by disallowing the immigration and emigration of people in the state and allow the victim of this epidemic to stay isolated rather than invalidating buying and selling in totality in cities that are yet to have any case of Corona virus as this might result to hunger.

We pray to Almighty God to save us from this ongoing disease and the like now and forever.
