OndoDecides: See results declared per Local Government

As Ondo state residents trooped out on Saturday to elect another governor, t he Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to conclude the results collation for the governorship election in Ondo State, which took place on Saturday.

The process, underway at INEC headquarters in Akure, has seen Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC), maintaining a considerable lead.

With results in from 15 Local Government Areas (LGAs), Aiyedatiwa has amassed 301,113 votes, placing him substantially ahead of Agboola Ajayi from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who trails with 97,041 votes.

This gap suggests a strong position for Aiyedatiwa as only three LGAs remain unannounced.

The collation, directed by INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner Oluwatoyin Babalola, began at about 12:35 am, supervised by the Returning Officer, Prof. Olayemi Akinwunmi.
