Olu Jacob’s Wife Dispels Rumours Of Husband’s Death

After some unconfirmed online reports that the veteran actor, Olu Jacobs died, actor Joke Silva has dispelled the rumours

The rumors had it that he iede on Sunday after a prolonged battle with dementia.

But his wife, Silver confirmed that her husband, Olu Jacobs is alive.

His wife who is also a veteran actress, Joke Silva on Sunday told newsmen that “her husband is alive and doing just fine”.

Similarly, on Sunday, June 30, Betty Irabor, a Nigerian writer and columnist debunked the rumour on her social media handles, saying, “Olu Jacob is well and alive..pls ignore all rumors of his passing.”

In a statement on her Instagram story, Silva said that her husband was alive and doing well, saying; “Good day everyone, trust all is going well. The Jacobs Clan would love to inform you that Papa J (Olu Jacobs MFR), is alive and well; enjoying himself as always in the comfort of his home and loved ones.”

Born on July 11, 1942, Jacobs was a highly acclaimed Nigerian actor and film executive, widely regarded as one of the most talented and influential African actors of his time.

It should be recalled that Joke Silva also debunked rumours of her husband’s death in August 2022.
