OKO IYABO: Yomi Fabiyi Blasts TAMPAN For Suspending Him, Talks About His Next Move
The Controversy surrounding the Yoruba entertainment industry in Nigeria is becoming deeper day-by-day, as controversial actor Yomi Fabiyi reacted to his suspension by Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) over his controversial movie Oko Iyabo.
TAMPAN just as they suspended Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo for stepping on toes with their stance on the rape saga has also suspended Yomi Fabiyi over his roles on the whole issue.
In his response, Yomi said one doesn’t lose what they never had, adding that he is not a member of TAMPAN but originally an ANTP member, and the worse case is for him to renew his membership with them, so their suspension is nothing to him, describing the letter of suspension from TAMPAN as inappropriate and not valid.
He hereby registered his satisfaction for making a movie with a rape situation to show his stand and for people to learn more.
