NEWS FLASH: One Killed As Rubbers Attack Two Banks In Osun
The news reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that some armed robbers have attacked two different banks in Iree community in Osun state.
According to the report, robbers, who arrived the banks located within the same location around 3:50 pm on Thursday were said to have operated for about 15 minutes before leaving the scene.
Confirming the urgly incident, an eyewitnesses said that the robbers were shooting sporadically into the air while escaping through Iree-Ada road, while one person was reportedly killed by a stray bullet during the robbery incident.
Spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command, SP Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident and disclosed that police have been deployed to the scene.
At the time of filing this report, police officers have taken over the premises of the incident to restore normalcy.
