National Youth Council of Nigeria to host Osun Youth Leadership, Security Summit In Osogbo
The Osun State Chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria, organises a Youth and Security Summit in Osogbo to contribute to the current security challenge in Nigeria.
The youth based organisation is a consortium of outstanding youths with key interest in Nation building among other objective in driving this nation positively.
In a press statement made available by the Osun State Chairman of the Council, Comrade Abdulazeez Isail to the OSUN REPORTERS, signed by the Osun State Public Relations Officer of the NYCN, Ajala Adetunji made it known that the summit is to enlighten the youths and tackling the insecurity in the country and Osun State in particular.
He said; “The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter wishes to inform and invite the general public, most especially youth across social cultural and political background in the state of Osun to her maiden edition of leadership and security summit schedule to hold on Wednesday 31st July, 2019 at thw Osogbo City Hall,olonkoro, Osogbo by 10:00am
“At a time like this, when unscrupulous elements and insecurity is bedeviling our state and also the leadership status quo is in shambles, the State Chairman of NYCN Comrade Abdulazeez Ismail said that it is pertinent that youths come together and chat a way out towards the nation building.”
The theme of the summit is “YOUTH; A PANACEA TO SECURITY AND PEACE” where competent hands will deliver lectures and eminent personalities were expected at the programme.
Some of the expected personalitues to deliver lecture at the event are; Alh. Y. A. Oni as Cheif Guest Lecturer, Mr. Bukola Idowu CEO Kimpact Development Initiative as Lecturer, and Mr. Adegbite Adeola Adegbite Registrar at Osun State Court of appeal also as Lecturer, while the Osun State Deputy Governor, Mr. Benedict Gboyega Alabi is the Father of Day, Mrs. Adejumoke Akinjiola DG OSBC as mother of the Day.
Keynote speakers includes; Mrs. Abiodun Ige Osun State Commissioner of Police, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, Speaker Osun House of Assembly and Mr. Femi Adefila CEO Rave 91.7FM Radio.
Some of the eminent personalities expected are; Hon. Kunle Akande Deputy Majority Leader OSHA representing Olorunda State Constituency, Hon. Olalekan Tunde Chief Whip OSHA representing Ife North State Constituency, Hon. Badamosi Olatunde Taofeek member OSHA representing Osogbo State Constitunecy, Hon. Aderemi Adeyemi Irekandu member OSHA representing Obokun State Constituency, Hon. Olubukola Oyawoye House of Rep Abuja representing Osogbo/Olorun/Irepodun/Orolu federal Constituency, Hon. Mrs. Taiwo Oluga representing Irewole/Isokan/Ayedaade/Ayedire federal Constituency at House of Rep Abuja, Hon. Bamidele Salam representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo federal Constituency at House of Rep Abuja among others.
“We expect dignitaries across works of life to be part of this epoch event towards an outstanding state, Ajala added.
