NACOMYO Osun Council Commiserates Oluwo, Muslim Ummah Over Death Of Grand Immam of Iwoland

The leadership of the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF MUSLIM YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS (NACOMYO) has commiserated with fellow Muslims’ in IWOLAND on the sudden passing away of the Grand IMMAM of IWOLAND Sheikh Abdul Fataii Olododo who answered the call of ALLAH (SWT) in the early hours of Friday, 29th Ramadan, 1445 A.H. (29th March, 2024.)

The condolence message is contained in a letter made available to ifeonlinenewsmedia2 today 30th March, 2024.

The Council Co-ordinator, Immam Tajudeen Adedokun reveals that “the news of the demise of our beloved Grand Immam was received with huge shock and nobody ever thought of it”.

He said further that “the late Grand Immam was a very kind person also a reservoir of knowledge and a pillar of Islam, may Allah accept his return and grant him Al-Janah Firdaws”.

Likewise, the Council Scribe, Alhaji Ishola Yusuf eulogize the late Grand Immam and said “our beloved father in Islam was an astute Islamic Scholsr loved by everyone and that his demise this time should be a reflection for all our deeds for the preparation for the Hereafter”

However, in the letter jointly signed by the duo, they condole with His Majesty, Oba Abdurrosheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwoland (Telu 1); the Isokan Musulumi Iwoland as well as the sons and daughters of the ancient town home and abroad on the sudden exit of our late father.

In furtherance to this, the Council passionately appeals to the Muslim leaders in Iwoland to make sure that the selection of the new Grand Immam complies with the Islamic tenets as enshrined in the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah so that the decision would be acceptable to Allah and all Muslim Ummah.


Conclusively, the NACOMYO COUNCIL prays Allah to guide Muslim leaders in Iwoland, Osun State in particular and all Muslim Ummah in Nigeria in general. They equally pray Allah to repose the soul of the deceased and give the family Oluwo and entire Muslim Ummah the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Aamin.
