N-Power volunteer distributes writing tool to students in Osun (see photo)

Students of St. Mary Middle school in Iwo, Osun state has benefited from pens distributed by N-Power volunteer, Ariyo Sulaiman Ola, to aid pupils education

According to the report made available to OsunReporters News, the distribution of the writing tools took place on Wednesday by Ariyo to support students in his place of primary assignment.

For him, the gesture was to contribute his part in “giving young Nigerians a helping hand to achieve their purpose” just as the N-Power scheme is tremendously improving the standard of education in the country by addressing teachers’ insufficiency in public schools.

At the event, Ariyo spoke glowingly of N-Power’s impact in Nigeria.

He said, “this is the little I could do to compliment the genuine effort of government to improve learning among pupils across the country.”

Npower volunteer, who thanked N-Power for giving him the platform to play a role in shaping the future. He added, “it’s my vision to do more for the future leaders and I believe that as much as N-Power continue on this path of putting the education of young people in right focus, the future is promising and assuring.”

He promised to continue to give his best in contributing to the development of education, seeing to it that future leaders are given the needed help to achieve their focus.

The students, who are seemingly elated at the gift, took turns to express gratitude for Mr Ariyo’s gesture and the chorus, “THANK YOU SIR”, rented the air by over 200 pupils from junior school for several minutes.


OsunReporters News recalls that, Npower programme is one of the social investment programmes of the Federal Government under the administration of President Buhari to create job for young Nigerians with over 500,000 beneficiaries since year 2016.
