N-power Protest: Lagos Govt Responds To Beneficiaries Plea For Permanency

The N-power volunteer group has pleaded to Lagos State government to absorb it members for permanent employment in the Lagos State government employment recruitments exercise which is currently going on in various ministries.
The group said , though the state government is not the coordinator of N-power schemes but the state government have the liberty to grant them stay of permanent employment at the various ministries, as various state governments has being absorbing it’s member in other states
The group stated further that , within the last four years that the schemes is brought by the federal government they have, contributed meaningfully but have not benefited from the state government led by governor Babajide Sanwolu in Lagos State .
Infact , at some point , the Lagos State House of assembly claimed that ,it members are ghost workers that their impacts in the Lagos State government is not felt .
According to the coordinator and convener of the protest comrade Felix Ayorinde said , for the Lagos State government claimed their are ghost workers, it’s very injurious to their members personality hence the need for this pleading protest by it members across Lagos State.
However the deputy governor of Lagos State Obafemi Hamzat while addressing the Npower group said they should back their protests with application letters and their request will be by attended to with favourable consideration if the employment recruitments has not being completed .
Recall that OsunReporters News had reported last week, the case of protest from Ogun and other five state planing protest which Lagos is one of them.
