Muslims Protest Again Attack Inside Mosque In Osun

,,,,,,Hundreds of Muslims on Friday afternoon took to the streets of Ile Ife to protest over the attack of Idiomoh Mosque by Oro worshipers.

OSUNREPORTERS NEWS learnt that on Thursday, 30th March 2023, during Asri Prayer (evening prayer) at Ìdí Ọmọh Ilare Mosque, the traditional worshipers reportedly attacked the Muslim faithful in the mosque and destroy properties. They matcheted Imaam and the congregation of Muslims in the Mosque at Idi Omo, Ilare Mosque Ile-Ife.

,,,,,,,,It was learnt that the ugly incident occured when the Muslims were about to observe their Salatul Asr around 4:30pm on Thursday.

The Muslims who were injured are presently receiving treatment at the OAUTHC.

,,,,,,Chanting solidarity songs, the Muslims numbering in their hundreds called for justice over the ugly incident.

In his reaction, the Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, Sheik Dahood Imaran Molaasan, condemned the attack, saying any attack on Muslims would also be met with the same attack if those concerned failed to do the needful.

He then urged all the Muslims in Yorubaland to let those affected feel their brotherly concern.
