Mr Macaroni Tackles Gbajabiamila Over Move For Social Media Regulation
After President Tinubu’s Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila lamented our social media is being used, saying Social media is a menace, Comedian and Activist Mr Macaroni has tackled the the former House of Reps Speaker.
It could be recalled that the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, earlier said that social media has become a societal menace and must be regulated.
Former House of Reps Speaker said this at a book launch in Lagos state on Thursday, February 8.
According to him; “Social media has become a societal menace and must be regulated. As many people do not understand that once the send button is hit, there is a potential to reach millions of people around the world which is capable of causing a great danger not just in the society but even unintended consequences to the individuals that are receiving information which may include security of life.”
Gbajabiamila’s outburst generated different opinions as it didn’t go down well with the many youths including skitmaker Mr Macaroni.
While reaching, Mr Macaroni released screenshots of old tweets of Gbajabiamila back in 2014 slamming previous governments
….He wrote; “Social Media wasn’t a menace when Mr Gbajabiamila used it to address the Government as Vagabonds and Barbarians in 2014. Today he is Chief of Staff and he suddenly realizes that Social media is a menace…. HYPOCRITICAL VAGABONDS IN POWER AND BARBARIANS AT THE GATE!!!!.”
