MISSING CHILD: At Last, Court Sentences Prophet Babatunde ‘Sotitobire’ To Life Imprisonment

Following the disappearance of one-year-old child identified as Gold Kolawole in the church last year November, Prophet Babatunde has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

According to the report, Justice Olusegun Odusola of the Ondo state High Court in Akure has sentenced the founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Babatunde Alfa and Five others to life imprisonment.

Having found the defendants guilty, Justice Odusola convicted them of the two count charge of kidnapping with aiding and abetting to kidnap based on the circumstantial evidence presented by the prosecution.

Speaking during the rulling, the Judge condemned in the complicity, compromise, and lackadaisical attitude of the Ondo state police command after Gold got missing which also led the burning of Sotitobire Church.
