Meet 80-Year-old Ekiti Chief Who Allegedly Lead Gang That Killed Three Obas

The Asamo of Igbara Ido in Ekiti state, Chief Oyebanji Olowofela, has been arrested by the joint team of the Nigerian Army, Police and other security agencies for allegedly led Fulani kidnappers in the operation that led to the murder of two Ekiti State monarchs.

According to reports, his arrest came after the apprehension of one Baboga Alhaji, one of the suspected kidnappers responsible for the killing of the two Ekiti traditional rulers recently.

,,,,,,He was arrested by a combine team of security apparatus from Kwara State, who stormed, Ijowa Ekiti, in Ajoni Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

It could be recalled that the Elesun of Esun Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin, the Olumojo of Imojo Ekiti, Oba Samuel Olatunde Olusola and the Olukoro of Ikoro, Kwara State, Oba Olusegun Aremu-Cole were killed last week.
