Mazota welcomes NAPPS, AMIS, ANCOPSS, others; makes vows
The first 3in1 agricultural academy in Nigeria, Mazota Agric-Academy welcomes all members of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Association of Model Islamic Schools (AMIS), All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) and other bodies canoeing functional education in Nigeria as schools resume today, January 6, 2020.
The director of Mazota Agric-Academy, Olaide Ajibola made this available while welcoming students, staff and management of both private and government owned schools in Nigeria from their long-spent vacations.
He thanked the Osun State chapter of the said organizations for their commitment to functional education most importantly in term of agriculture.
Olaide Ajibola said ” We at Mazota Agric-Academy wholeheartedly welcome students, staff and management of both private and government owned schools in Nigeria from their long-spent vacations.
We pray for God’s protection, wisdom, knowledge and understanding on all students, staff, and management of all schools. We wish NAPPS, AMIS, ANCOPSS and others a happy resumption”
He furthered “We also extend our happy resumption message to all students, staff and management of all tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It’s our hope that your support for our campaign for functional education through agriculture will be taken to a greater height in this year”
While pledging a better working relationship with all educational bodies, he also stressed that the agricultural academy is available for collaboration from any school, individual, group or government that is ready to join the train towards moving from economic recession, food insecurity and skyrocketing unemployment rate to economic buoyancy, food security, job opportunities and wealth creation.
Organizations such as National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS Osun) and her counterpart; Model Islamic Schools (AMIS Osun) ably led by Alhaja (Comrade) Adepoju Kojusola Muinat and Mallam Shakrullah Yaqin respectively have greatly considered using the academy for farm field trip/excursion and training purposes their pupils/students. Thus, setting the pace for others.
Recall that in March 2019, Mazota Agric-Academy dashed out gift items to about one hundred best students in agricultural science from different schools in Osogbo. This was aimed at awakening the dying green traits in this generation.
The director said “We shall not relent in our efforts to help improve seriousness in students towards functional education. Rewarding best students in Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry from different schools is a rare case that we believe will of no doubt increase students interest in the said subject and profession”
Mazota Agric-Academy is a complete agricultural school and economic empowerment institution with over 20 different animal units, 30 different crops types and 45 different horticultural plants for the purpose of excursion, training and research; it is undoubtedly the first of its kind in Nigeria. Mazota Agric-Academy is located at Osogbo, Osun State.
