According to information obtained by SaharaReporters, an Adamawa State High Court has sentenced 38-year-old Abubakar Mohammed to death by hanging after finding him guilty of killing his fiancée and then taking some of her body parts.
According to reports, Mohammed, a water vendor, used love advances to entice Christiana Augustine before killing her and selling her breasts, tongue, and eyeballs for N10 million.
On January 26, 2019, at around 7:30 p.m., the event took place in Yola South Local Government Area of the state at Shagari Federal Low Cost Housing Estate Phase II.

On the fateful night, the rumored lovers had gathered and were on their way to a common meeting location to unwind sexually when Mohammed abruptly pulled out a knife and sliced Augustine’s throat.
According to reports, he moved from Jauro-Tukur village in the Akko Local Government Area of Gombe state after accepting an invitation from Buhari Mohammed of Sanda junction, Yola South in Adamawa state, who promised him the chance to profit handsomely from the heinous crime by the tune of N10 million.

He worked as a water vendor in Adamawa State near the Shagari Low Cost, a region with a high population that has a severe shortage of potable water. As a result, he won the late Augustine’s affection for his quick and free provision of the necessary good.
Following his conviction on a two-count allegation of culpable homicide and possession of human parts, Justice Bulila Ladokiya Ikaro delivered the punishment on Tuesday.
She gave him a sentence of death by hanging for culpable homicide and 21 years in prison with the possibility of paying a fine of N100,000. She stated that the sentences must be served simultaneously.
